Hand forged gun hooks made by Seth Haviland of Metal Grain. Gun display hooks are forged from 1/2" solid square bar. This style of hooks feature an opposing twist on the spine of the hook. You will receive 2 hooks. 1 hook with a left twist and 1 hook with a right twist. This opposing twist is very appealing to the eye.
Each gun hook is treated with a wax finish that seals the hook and provides the black finish. This done by heating the hook in the forge to a black heat. At this temperature the wax melts onto the steel, sealing and protecting it.
